Kamusta Ka?

Kamusta ka?

It has been a while since I last saw you, but I still remember how beautiful you are.

Bohol, this view of yours is breathtaking.

I met you in the middle of the sea.

A place where raindrops are the highest form of currency.

Where gourmet in the city is just your everyday.

The most important lessons were taught by the moon, the waves, and the tide

You are one of my favorite memories.

Please send my love to Batasan, the kilometer-stretch of a pre-Hispanic island, home of a beautiful and independent community.

Thank you so much for adopting me.

I've been revisiting my photos of you from last year and it is really painful to hear about your situation since the earthquake.

A lot has been damaged. There are things we could no longer restore. I am now learning the importance of documenting.

Let us keep in touch.

My friends there,

I pray that the sky shower you warm rays from the sun and dry away what has been drenched. And at night, I pray that the sweetest dreams visit you instead of high tide.

You are incredibly strong and independent, but we'd like you to know that we are here for you.

Please keep safe.
